NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

The proposal is to abstract water at 180 cubic metres per hour, 3,960 cubic metres per day and up to 81,800 cubic metres between April and October each year for spray irrigation purposes. There will be compensatory discharges into Kings Dyke at TL 237 967 from Must Farm Pit at rates of 4,356 cubic metres per day and up to 89,980 cubic metres per annum so there will be no demand on summer water resources. This application is for a licence to replace the licence serial number 6/33/53/S/613 which expired on 30th September 2000. A copy of the application and any map, plan or other document submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at 1 Chapel Street, Yaxley, or 132 Ramsey Road, Whittlesey, between 27th January 2001 and 24th February 2001.
