NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO RENEW LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER FROM RIVER WITHAM IN THE PARISH OF FOSTON AND WESTBOROUGH IN THE DISTRICT OF GRANTHAM AND IN THE COUNTY OF LINCOLN, OLD LICENCE NUMBER 4/30/02/S/83
Take notice that N. Marris, of High Field Farm, Foston, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG32 2LD, are applying to the Environment Agency to renew licence to abstract water from the River Witham at National Grid References SK 857 446 and SK 869 450 in the parish of Foston and Westborough. The proposal is to abstract water for potatoes and sugar beet at the following maximum rates of 82 cubic metres per hour, 1,476 cubic metres per day and 56,000 cubic metres per annum between 1st April and 30th September. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with them may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at The Farm Office, High Field Farm, Foston, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG32 2LD, between 19th January and 23rd February 2001. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside, North Lincoln LN2 5HA, before the end of the said period quoting the name of the applicant.
