PROPOSED CLOSURE OF WOODHOUSE STREET, UNNAMED STREET ADJACENT TO 44 CROWTHER STREET AND 28 WOODHOUSE STREET AND STREET TO REAR OF MORLEY STREET, BURNLEY, LANCASHIRE

Notice is hereby given that the Burnley Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements made under section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with the Lancashire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council as Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Colne Road, Reedley, Burnley, Lancashire on Thursday, 1st March 2001, at 10 a.m., for an Order that the lengths of highway specified in the Schedule hereto be closed on the grounds that they are unnecessary. The effect of the said Order is shown on the plan which may be inspected, free of charge, from 26th January 2001 to 23rd February 2001 at the offices of Burnley Borough Council, Town Hall, Manchester Road, Burnley, during office hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday). Schedule Woodhouse Street Front and rear from its junction with Brunswick Street to its junction with the unnamed street 62 metres north of Brunswick Street, except for the eastern footway. Unnamed Street adjacent to 44 Crowther Street and 28 Woodhouse Street From its junction with Woodhouse Street to its junction with Crowther Street.
