NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Heritage Property Investments Ltd., for consent to discharge 45.9 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent from Retallack Park, Winnards Perch, St. Colum Major to a tributary of the River Menalhyl at National Grid Ref. SW 9352 6622. Details of the proposal are contained in the register held by the Agency in its office at Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1EB, and may be inspected, free of charge, from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive. Inquiries by telephone may be made on 01208 78301 extension 5406. Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application should do so, in writing, to the Water Quality Consenting Officer at the above address, quoting the above reference number not later than 7th March 2001. The Environment Agency is committed to maintaining and, where possible, improving water quality, If, after full consideration of this application and any representations made by interested parties, it is decided that consent can be given, then conditions will be imposed to ensure that the effluent receives treatment before discharge to the receiving waters so that the above aims are met.
