NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Worlick Farm Limited, of the Estate Office, Grange Farm, Abbots Ripton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 6/33/53/S/106 which authorises the abstraction of water from the drains of the Ramsey 2nd (Stocking Fen) and the Whittlesey Internal Drainage Boards, the River Nene (Old Course) and the Forty Foot Drain between the following pairs of National Grid Refs: 1. TL 2935 9010 and TL 2888 9070 at Roses Farm, Marriots Drove, Ramsey. 2. TL 2972 9041 and TL 2922 9100 at Roses Farm, Marriots Drove, Ramsey. 3. TL 2900 8551 and TL 2905 8621 at Stocking Fen, Ramsey. 4. TL 3104 9037 and TL 3220 9107 at Mere Farm, Ramsey. 5. TL 3484 9107 and TL 3550 9359 at White Fen Farm, Benwick. 6. TL 3573 9371 and TL 3620 9437 at Floods Ferry Farm, March. 7. TL 3670 9441 and TL 3715 9505 at Bradney Farm, March. 8. TL 2895 8753 and TL 3048 8805 at Skeggins Fen, Ramsey. 9. TL 3016 8844 and TL 3060 8963 at Mere Farm, Ramsey and 10. TL 3654 8825 and TL 3944 8820 at Carters Bridge Farm, Chatteris. The variation applied for is to include two further areas of land on which water abstracted at Point 6 may be used as spray irrigation. A copy of the application and of any map, plan or other document submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at The Camp, Wood Lane, Ramsey, between 3rd February 2001 and 3rd March 2001. Any person who wishes to make representation about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period.
