NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF A LOCAL PLAN
THE HAVANT BOROUGH DISTRICT-WIDE LOCAL PLAN

The Council of the Borough of Havant (“the Council”) have prepared the above plan. If, and when, this plan is adopted it will form part of the development plan for the area of the Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the plan are available for public inspection, free of charge, at Main Reception (Ground Floor), Civic Offices, Civic Centre Road, Havant; Planning and Development Reception (2nd Floor), Civic Offices, Civic Centre Road, Havant; Emsworth Library, 23 High Street, Emsworth; Havant Library, Meridian Centre, Havant; Hayling Island Library, 99 Elm Grove, Hayling Island; Leigh Park Library, 50 Park Parade, Leigh Park, Havant; Waterlooville Library, The Precinct, London Road, Waterlooville; Hermitage Housing Association Offices, St. George’s Walk, Waterlooville, from 22nd January 2001. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the plan should be sent in writing to The Forward Planning Section, Freepost PT106, Civic Offices, Civic Centre Road, Havant, Hampshire PO9 2BR, by no later than 5th March 2001. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 5th March 2001 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.
