THE KINGSTON-UPON-THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.  /2001) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) TRAFFIC ORDER 2001
KINGSTON BRIDGE REFURBISHMENT

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended). The general effect of the Order, would be to extend the waiting and loading restrictions on Kingston Bridge to include that length of carriageway which lies between the western extremity of Kingston Bridge and Hampton Wick Roundabout. The restrictions to apply “At Any Time”. A copy of the proposed Order, plans which indicate the location and effect of the Order, a copy of the Kingston-upon-Thames (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Traffic Order 1994, a copy of the press notice and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, at Kingston Library, Fairfield Road, Kingston (during normal opening hours), and at The 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston-upon-Thames KT1 1EU (between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays inclusive). Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Director of Environmental Services (Highways and Transportation), Guildhall 2, Kingston-upon-Thames KT1 1EU, by 12th February 2001.
