THE A421 TRUNK ROAD (BROGBOROUGH, BEDFORDSHIRE) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2001

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the A421 Trunk Road at Brogborough in Bedfordshire. The effect of the Order, which will come into force on 26th January 2001, will be to impose a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the length of the A421 between points 175 metres north-east of its junction with the C76 (Salford Road) and 750 metres south-west of its junction with the UC86 (Lidlington Road), a distance of 870 metres. A copy of the Order may be inspected, during normal office hours, at the offices of Thorburn Colquhoun, 200 Harpur Centre, Home Lane, Bedford MK40 1TS, at Bedford Central Library, Harpur Street, Bedford, or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Project Services Secretariat, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref.
