HIGHWAY AT PERSHORE ROAD, ADJACENT TO THE SWAN PUBLIC HOUSE, WHITTINGTON, WORCESTER

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Worcestershire) (No. 1) Order 200 , authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway at Pershore Road, adjacent to The Swan Public House, Whittington, Worcester. The Order as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Wychavon District Council, on 11th August 2000, under Ref. W/00/0131. Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands, at the offices of the Director, Local Government Division, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting Ref. 5058/35/1/48) and may be inspected, at all reasonable hours, at the offices of Wychavon District Council, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore WR10 1PT. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 19th January 2001 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
