REVISED LAYOUT OF ON-STREET PARKING PLACES

Notice is hereby given that, on 19th January 2001, the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea made the above Orders, the general effect of which will be to provide an additional 12 residents spaces, five motorcycle spaces and remove one pay and display bay, by in-filling loading gaps, removing yellow lines and rearranging parking layouts to make better use of the available kerb space. The changes are as follows: Convert 25 metres of single yellow line opposite Nos. 7 to 10 Clarendon Cross to residents’ parking. Convert five metres of single yellow line outside No. 131 Portland Road to echelon residents’ parking. Convert three pay and display bays outside Nos. 86 to 92 Portland Road to five angled echelon pay and display bays. Convert five metres of single yellow line outside Nos. 11 a and 11 b Queensdale Road to residents’ parking. Convert 10 metres of single yellow line outside No. 14 Princedale Road to pay and display bays. Convert three pay and display bays outside Nos. 24 to 28 Princedale Road to residents’ parking. Convert one pay and display bay outside No. 57 Princedale Road to a motorcycle bay. Convert one pay and display bay outside No. 66 Princedale Road to residents’ parking. Extend residents’ parking outside No. 73 Princedale Road by 2.5 metres. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation for the purposes of placing traffic signs on 22nd January 2001, and for all other purposes on 5th February 2001, and all other relevant documents can be inspected, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date the Orders were made, in the Traffic Section, Room 317, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Directorate of Transportation and highways on 020 7361 2519. Any persons desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
