NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A STRUCTURE PLAN
WILTSHIRE STRUCTURE PLAN—2011

On 5th January 2001, Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire County Council adopted these plan proposals. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for Swindon and Wiltshire. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the following places: Swindon Borough Council, Customer Services, Premier House, Station Road, Swindon, and Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon (Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.); Wiltshire County Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge (Monday to Thursday 8.30 a.m. to 5.20 p.m., Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.); Kennet District Council, Browfort, Bath Road, Devizes (Monday to Thursday 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.); North Wiltshire District Council, Bewley House, Marshfield Road, Chippenham (Monday to Thursday 8.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m., Friday 8.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.); Salisbury District Council, 61 Wyndham Road, Salisbury (Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.); West Wiltshire District Council, Council Offices, Bradley Road, Trowbridge (Monday to Thursday 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.). In addition to the places named above, copies of the Plan can also be inspected at Borough and County Council Libraries. The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 19th January 2001, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
