PROPOSED STOPPING-UP OF FOOTPATHS AT TAYLOR HALL ESTATE, MIRFIELD

Notice is hereby given that the Kirklees Metropolitan Council being the Highway Authority for the lengths of highway hereinafter mentioned, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Grove Street, Dewsbury, on Thursday, 1st March 2001, at 10 a.m., for an Order, under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the said Council to stop up for the purposes of pedestrian traffic, on the ground that they are unnecessary, 12 lengths of footpaths at the Taylor Hall Estate, Mirfield, as are detailed on the Schedule annexed to the notice which has been deposited and which may be inspected, during normal office hours, at the offices detailed below and more particularly delineated on the plan also annexed to the notice and thereupon shown darkened and referenced 1-12.
