THE HARINGEY (BUS PRIORITY) (AMENDMENT No. 28) ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council on 18th January 2001, made the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of The Haringey (Bus Priority) Order would be to further amend The Haringey (Bus Priority) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2000, so as to prohibit unauthorised vehicles from being in the bus lane specified in the Schedule below. Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 2000. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 19th January 2001, of the above-mentioned Order of 2000 (and Orders which have previously amended that Order, where applicable), of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a plan showing the locations and effects of the Order may be inspected during period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, during normal office working hours, at Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, Hornsey, London N.8. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The northern side, eastern approach, excluding the left turn traffic lane on the north side. Between a point 7.4 metres west of a point opposite the western kerb-line of Hornsey Park Road formed by the traffic island on the western side and a point 25.4 metres west of that point.
