NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PRE-INQUIRY CHANGES TO THE AMENDED DRAFT REVISED SUTTON UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The London Borough of Sutton propose a number of pre-inquiry changes to the Amended Draft Revised Plan (the Plan). If, and when, this Plan is adopted it will form the development plan for the area of Sutton. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the proposed pre-inquiry changes to the Plan are available for public inspection, free of charge, at: Beddington Library, The Broadway, Beddington (Tuesday and Friday 1400 to 1800, Thursday 0930 to 1300, Saturday 1400 to 1700); Carshalton Library, The Square, Carshalton (Tuesday 0930 to 2000, Wednesday and Saturday 0930 to 1700, Thursday 0930 to 1300, Friday 0930 to 1800); Cheam Libary, Church Road, Cheam (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 0930 to 2000, Thursday 0930 to 1300; Saturday 0930 to 1800); Middleton Circle Library, Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton (Tuesday 0930 to 1800, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 0930 to 1700, Thursday 0930 to 1300); Ridge Road Library, Ridge Road, Sutton (Tuesday 0930 to 2000, Wednesday and Saturday 0930 to 1700, Thursday 0930 to 1300, Friday 0930 to 1800); Roundshaw Library, Mollison Drive, Roundshaw, Wallington (Tuesday 0930 to 1800, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 0930 to 1700, Thursday 0930 to 1300); Sutton Central Library, St. Nicholas Way, Sutton (Tuesday to Friday 0930 to 2000, Saturday 0930 to 1700, Sunday 1400 to 1700); Wallington Library, Shotfield, Wallington (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 0930 to 2000, Thursday and Saturday 0930 to 1700); Worcester Park, Windsor Road, Worcester Park (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 0930 to 2000, Thursday and Saturday 0930 to 1700). Copies of the proposed pre-inquiry changes to the revised Plan are also available for inspection at the Civic Offices, St. Nicholas Way, Sutton, Surrey SM1 1EA, and Environment and Leisure Group, London Borough of Sutton, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, Surrey SM5 2JG (Mondays to Fridays between 0900 and 1700). Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposed pre-inquiry changes to the Plan should be sent in writing to the Executive Head of Planning and Transportation, Environment and Leisure Group, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton, Surrey SM5 2JG, before 1700 on 23rd February 2001. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the Plan. Objections may only be made in respect of proposed pre-inquiry changes. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 23rd February 2001 can be pursued at the inquiry.
