WATER RESOURCES ACT 1991, SCHEDULE 10 (AS AMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the above Act, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Mr. and Mrs. Jones for consent to discharge up to 1.5 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to Cefn-y-Spin Brook at National Grid Ref. SJ 2131 0815 from a proposed special needs dwelling at land off Cefn-y-Spin Lane, Welshpool. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Water Quality Consents Officer at the Agency’s offices at Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, during the period 12th January 2001 to 23rd February 2001, quoting Ref. CP/US/91154. The Environment Agency is committed to maintaining and, where possible, improving water quality. If, after full consideration of this application and any representations made by interested parties it is decided that consent can be granted, then conditions will be imposed to ensure that the effluent receives treatment before discharge to the receiving waters so that the above aims are met. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at the Agency’s offices at the above address. J. A.
