TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway at Heath House, Farringdon Road, Southmoor, Oxfordshire. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Mr. B. P. Shirlaw by Vale of White Horse District Council, on 18th March 1999, under Ref. KBA/10138/6. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected, at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on 12th January 2001, at the offices of Vale of White Horse District Council, The Abbey House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 3JN, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East, (quoting Ref. GOSE/029/001/OXON/036) at the address below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days, anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref. GOSE/029/001/OXON/036 and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East, Second Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected by it.
