NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE ALTERATION OF A MINERALS LOCAL PLAN
DERBY AND DERBYSHIRE MINERALS LOCAL PLAN

Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council have prepared proposals for the alteration of the above plan. If, and when, these proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for the area of Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting these areas.

Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to either The Director of Environmental Services, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire DE4 3AG, or The Director of Development and Cultural Services, Derby City Council, Roman House, Friar Gate, Derby DE1 1XB, before 23rd February 2001.
Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.
Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at either of the addresses specified above within the six week period ending on 23rd February 2001, will have the right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing. Further information is available from the Derbyshire County Council or Derby City Council at the addresses given above.

Notice of intention to adopt proposals

If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections, Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
