THE B1525 (FORMERLY A16) TRUNK ROAD (MARKET DEEPING/DEEPING ST. JAMES) (DETRUNKING) ORDER 200
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make the following Order: An Order, under sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980, which will provide that the length of the B1525 (formerly part of the A16) Trunk Road, which has been superseded by the A16 Market Deeping Bypass (part of the County Council’s highway network) shall cease to be a trunk road and shall become a classified road as from the date on which the Order comes into force. Copies of the draft Order and the plans referred to in it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at the Highways Agency, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE, at the offices of the Director, Network and Customer Services (Midlands), the Highways Agency, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL, at the offices of the Chief Executive, Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln LN1 1YL. Any person may object to the making of this Order not later than 22nd February 2001, or within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, by notice to the Secretary of State at the offices of the Director, Network and Customer Services (Midlands), the Highways Agency, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL, quoting Ref. HA 008/001/000048 and stating the grounds of objection. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
