Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions in exercise of the powers under the above-mentioned Acts has prepared a draft Compulsory Purchase Order, entitled as above, which he proposes to make, authorising him to purchase compulsorily the land described in the Schedule to the draft Order and delineated and coloured pink on the plan. The land referred to in the above paragraph is authorised to be purchased compulsorily for the following purposes: (a) the improvement of the A36 Trunk Road at Limpley Stoke in the District of West Wiltshire in the county of Wiltshire; and (b) use by the Secretary of State in connection with such improvement of the trunk road. Copies of the draft Compulsory Purchase Order and of the plans referred to therein, have been deposited and may be seen, during normal opening hours from 4th January 2001 to 15th February 2001, at the offices of The Highways Agency, Room 414, Tollgate House, Houlton Street, Bristol BS2 9DJ; The Highways Agency, Room 5/46 a St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE; West Wiltshire District Council, Bradley Road, Trowbridge BA14 0RD; and Limpley Stoke Post Office Stores, 20 Lower Stoke, Limpley Stoke. Any objections to the draft Compulsory Purchase Order must be made in writing and addressed to the Highways Agency, Room 503, Tollgate House, Houlton Street, Bristol BS2 9DJ, not later than 15th February 2001 and should state the grounds of objection and quote Ref. HA 065/9/106. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
