THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO.   ) ORDER 2001

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the Disabled Persons Order would be to further amend The Haringey (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1994, so that non-Orange Badge holders would be prohibited from parking in designated disabled bays located on Asplins Road, Avenue Road, Barrenger Road, Berkeley Road, Berwick Road, Birkbeck Road, Brampton Road, Bruce Castle Road, Chandos Road, Courtman Road, Everington Road, Fairbourne Road, Gaskell Road, Gisburn Road, Gladstone Avenue, Grasmere Road, Great Cambridge Road, Malvern Road, Moreton Road, Muswell Hill Road, Napier Road, North Road, North View Road, Nursery Street, Park View Road, Perth Road, Reform Row, Risley Avenue, Ratches Road, Rowley Road, Sherringham Avenue, Solway Road, Southwood Lawn Road, St. Loys Road, Steeds Road, Thackeray Avenue, The Avenue. Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the Original Order of 1994. A copy of the proposed Order, of the above-mentioned Order of 1994 (and Orders which have previously amended that Order, where applicable), of the council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a plan showing the locations and effects of the Order may be inspected, during a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, during normal office working hours, at Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, Hornsey, London N.8. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order, or make other representations should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the ground thereof or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, Room 112, Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, London N8 9JJ, within 21 days of the date on which this notice is published.
