NOTICE OF STATEMENT OF CASE AND ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
EXTINGUISHMENT OF RIGHTS OF COMMON ON EACH OF WARCOP, HILTON AND MURTON COMMONS
Notice is hereby given that, on 9th January 2001, the Secretary of State for Defence published the Statement of Case for the Extinguishment of the Rights of Common on each of Warcop, Hilton and Murton Commons. Notice is also given that, on 16th January 2001, the Secretary of State for Defence intends to publish the non-statutory Environmental Statement in 3 volumes and a Non-technical Summary into the proposal to Extinguish the Rights of Commons on each of Warcop, Hilton and Murton Commons. The Statement of Case and supporting documents have been deposited at the places listed below where they may be seen at all reasonable hours. The Environmental Statement will be on deposit at the places listed below, where it may be viewed at all reasonable hours. Copies of the Statement of Case can be requested by writing to the Programme Officer, James Riddle c/o Programme Office, HQ Warcop ATE (NW), Warcop, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria CA60 6PA. Copies of the Non-technical Summary of the Environmental Statement can be obtained by in writing to the Programme Officer, James Riddle, at the above address.
