WATER RESOURCES ACT 1991, SCHEDULE 10 (AS AMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Schedule 10 of the above Act that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Pearce Construction (Midlands) Ltd, for consent to discharge up to 4 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to a ditch tributary of the Shrawley Brook at National Grid Reference SO 7503 6577 from the proposed barn conversions at Walsgrove Farm, Great Witley, Worcestershire. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Water Quality Consents Officer, at the Agency’s offices at Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, during the period 10th January 2001 to 21st February 2001, inclusive quoting reference CP/US/91158. The Environment Agency is committed to maintaining and, where possible, improving water quality. If, after full consideration of this application and any representations made by interested parties it is decided that consent can be granted, then conditions will be imposed to ensure that the effluent receives treatment before discharge to the receiving waters so that the above aims are met.
