A404/M40 HANDY CROSS JUNCTION—SHORT TERM IMPROVEMENT: ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT: DETERMINATION BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, TRANSPORT AND THE REGIONS UNDER SECTION 105A(3) OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has determined that his proposal for short term improvements to the A404/M40 Junction 4 at Handy Cross which is a relevant project within the meaning of section 105A(1) of the Highways Act 1980 is not subject to environmental impact assessment in accordance with Part VA of the Highways Act 1980 implementing Directive 85/337/EEC as amended by Directive 97/11/EC.
