The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of West Yorkshire) (Bradford No. 6) Order 2000” authorising the stopping-up of an unnamed access road in front of properties 17-27 Mortimer Avenue, and an unnamed service road running from Elsworth Avenue to the rear of properties 17-27 Mortimer Avenue and to the side of 17 Mortimer Avenue to its junction with Mortimer Avenue, Bradford Moor, Bradford, West Yorkshire. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Director of Planning & Transport at the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, PO Box 213, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4US (quoting YHDOT W4705/35/1/74) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Transportation and Traffic, 1 City Road, Bradford. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 3rd January 2001, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
