NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LICENCES TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Dales Water Services Ltd, Witherick Lane, Melmerby, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 5JB, on behalf of Total Fitness UK Ltd, c/o Kingsley Fereday Management Ltd, Wilmslow Way, Handforth, Wilmslow SK9 3PG, is applying to the Environment Agency for licences to abstract water from boreholes in the sandstone at the following rates: 20 cubic metres per hour, 250 cubic metres per day, 70,000 cubic metres per year. The above quantities will be abstracted at each of the following locations:

Binns Road, Edge Lane, Liverpool L13 EW	NG Ref. SJ 3865 9043
Winwick Road, Warrington, Cheshire	NG Ref. SJ 6035 8958
Northern Perimeter Road, Bootle, Liverpool	NG Ref. SD 366 997

The water will be used for domestic, sanitary and associated uses at Fitness Centres. A copy of the applications and any maps, plans and other documents submitted with them may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the relevant addresses listed above, between 29th December 2000 and 29th January 2001, any person wishing to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Birchwood, Warrington WA3 7WD, before the end of the said period.
