THE DIVERSION OF PART OF THE HIGHWAY KNOWN AS BUSHEY 35

Take notice that Hertfordshire County Council as Highways Authority intends to apply to the Watford Magistrates’ Court sitting at The Court House, Clarendon Road, Watford, Hertfordshire WD1 1ST, on 26th January 2001, at 2 p.m., for an Order, under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the diversion of part of the highway known as Bushey 35 mentioned in the Schedule hereto on the grounds that it is nearer or more commodious to the public. A plan showing the length of the highway to be diverted is available for inspection, free of charge, at Room 223 a, County Hall, Hertford, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday to Friday, and at Hertsmere Borough Council Area Information Office, Rudolf Road, Bushey, from 9 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. and then 1.15 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Monday to Friday. On the hearing of the application at the Watford Magistrates’ Court on the date of aforesaid, the Applicant Authority, any persons to whom notice is required to be given under paragraph 1 of the 12th Schedule to the Highways Act 1980, any person who uses the Highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order applied for shall have the right to be heard.
