THE BOROUGH OF STAFFORD (BELLASIS STREET, STAFFORD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2001

The Stafford Borough Council propose to make the above Order in exercise of their powers under sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposal will be to: (i) remove the existing “no waiting Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.” restriction from the lengths and sides of road specified in Schedule 1 below. (ii) prohibit waiting at any time on the lengths and side of road specified in Schedule 2 below. A copy of the proposed Order and appropriate plan giving full details of the proposal together with a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at my office during normal office hours. Objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made should be submitted in writing to the undersigned by not later than 19th January 2001. A. R. Schedule 1 Removal of existing waiting restrictions Bellasis Street, Stafford: on its south side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Marston Road for a distance of 36 metres in a westerly direction; on its south side from a point 74 metres west of its junction with Marston Road for a distance of 88 metres in a westerly direction; on its north side from a point 129 metres west of its junction with Marston Road for a distance of 37 metres in a westerly direction. Schedule 2 No waiting at any time Bellasis Street, Stafford: on its north side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Marston Road for a distance of 82 metres in a westerly direction; on its north side from a point 126 metres west of its junction with Marston Road for a distance of 37 metres in a westerly direction. 22nd December 2000.
