THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 28) TRAFFIC ORDER 2000
The Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames on 29th November 2000, made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at any time in Townmead Road, Kew, specified in the Schedule attached to this notice. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 18th December 2000, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected, for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this notice, at the Civic Centre (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order may be purchased from Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court. Alker, Head of Highways and Transportation Schedule Townmead Road, Kew: (a) the north to south arm, the west side, between the south-western boundary of No. 249 Mortlake Road, and its junction with the north-west to south-east arm of Townmead Road; (b) the north-west to south-east arm, the north-east side, between its junction with the north to south arm and its south-eastern extremity; (c) that length of carriageway on the south-west side of the north-west to south-east arm of Townmead Road, commencing from a point 77 metres north-west of its south-eastern extremity, extending around the inside of the junction with the north to south arm of Townmead Road for a distance of 25 metres, terminating at a point 84 metres north of a point opposite the south-western boundary of No. 249 Mortlake Road. 1st December 2000.
