UNIVERSITIES OF OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE ACT 1923

A Statute made by the University of Oxford, on 31st October 2000, amending Statutes III and XVI, has been submitted for the approval of Her Majesty in Council, and notice of its having been so submitted is published in accordance with the provisions of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923. The purpose of the amendments are to limit the functions of Convocation and extend membership to all members of the University who hold a degree of the University, and to change the present provisions governing the Burtt Davy Research Scholarship.
