NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Toot Hill Golf Club Ltd, of School Road, Toot Hill, Ongar, Essex CM5 9PU, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a tributary of Mar Dyke at National Grid Reference TQ 581 867, at Broadfields Farm, Pike Lane, Cranham, Upminster, Essex. The proposal is to abstract water at 18 cubic metres per hour, 432 cubic metres per day, and up to 15,000 cubic metres between November and March each year to fill a storage reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plan or other document submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at Oak Stores, 41 Lichfield Terrace, St. Marys Lane, Upminster, between 11th November 2000 and 9th December 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
