THE A3204 GLA ROAD (LAMBETH) RED ROUTE (SIDE ROADS) TRAFFIC ORDER 2000

Transport for London gives notice that, on 24th August 2000, it made the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of certain experimental Traffic Orders so as to continue the Priority (Red) Route controls on the A3204 Kennington Lane in the London Borough of Lambeth and on Glyn Street, Tyers Street, St. Oswald’s Place, Oval Way, Farnham Royal, Vauxhall Street, Loughborough Street, Gasholder Place, Montford Place, Courtenay Street, Windmill Row, Cardigan Street, Black Prince Road, Sancroft Street, Kennington Road, Cleaver Street, Denny Street, White Hart Street, Chester Way, Cottington Street, Opal Street (both arms), Renfrew Road and the unnamed road linking Kennington Lane with Ariel Court and Brutus Court, at and near their junctions with the A3204 Kennington Lane. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into force on 1st September 2000, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection, between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays until the last day of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, at the offices of Transport for London, College House, Great Peter Street, London SW1P 3LN; and Lambeth Borough Council’s Transportation and Highways Group, 3rd Floor, Blue Star House, 234-244 Stockwell Road, Brixton, London SW9 9SP. Applications to the High Court challenging the legality of the Orders should be made within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made.
