NOTICE UNDER PARAGRAPH 6 OF SCHEDULE 15 TO THE ACT

Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Friendly Societies Commission for confirmation of the transfer of the engagements of Pharos Assurance Friendly Society, whose registered office is at Brecon House, (2nd Floor), 16-16 a Albion Place, Maidstone, Kent ME14 5DZ, to the Nottingham Oddfellows Assurance Friendly Society Limited, whose registered office is Imperial Buildings, 29 Bridgford Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6AU. The Friendly Societies Commission intends to hear oral representation in accordance with Schedule 15 to the Friendly Societies Act 1992, with respect to the application from interested parties on 16th October 2000. Any interested party has the right to make written representation or give notice of their intention to make oral representation to the Commission at 15th Floor, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS, on or before 15th September 2000.
