THE CAMDEN (WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPA) (AMENDMENT NO.  ) ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and part 1 of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general nature and effect of the Camden Waiting & Loading Restriction) (SPA) (Amendment No. ) Order 2000 will be to: (i) Introduce four new Loading bays in Kentish Town Road to operate between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive. Maximum loading period 20 minutes. Outside No. 306; outside Library; outside Nos. 194-198; and outside Nos. 168-178 Kentish Town Road. (ii) Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on south side of Chetwynd Road from a point 3.5 metres east of the party wall of Nos. 96 and 98, eastwards for a distance of 15 metres. Amend the existing restrictions from Highgate Road junction by shortening them by 7 metres and extending by 5 metres the restrictions from Dartmouth Park Hill junction. (iii) Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in Sandwell Crescent across the vehicle entrance to 11-16 Victoria Mansions. (iv) Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in that part of Coptic Street across the vehicle entrance between Nos. 32 and 33 Coptic Street. (v) Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in that part of Sumatra Road, south side, either side of the vehicle entrance to Sumatra House, rear of 217-219 West End Lane. (vi) Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in that part of Chester Road, either side of the vehicle entrance to the rear of 58 to 86 Chester Road. (vii) Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in that part of Dartmouth Park Hill, either side of the entrances to Lulot Gardens and Retcar Close. (viii) Revoke the existing loading restrictions in Leather Lane at the junction with Clerkenwell Road. A copy of the proposed Order, a plan showing the locations and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected, during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive, at the Environment Department Reception, fifth floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ. Any person wishing to object or make other representations to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and specify the grounds thereof and address it to the Director of Environment Department, Engineering and Traffic Service, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ, to reach us by 14th September 2000, within a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
