FOOTWAY AT LOMBARD HOUSE, 145 GREAT CHARLES STREET, BIRMINGHAM

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (City of Birmingham) (No. 16) Order 2000”, authorising the stopping-up of footway at Lombard House, 145 Great Charles Street, Birmingham.
The Order as made will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Birmingham City Council on 18th February 2000 under Ref. C/00067/00/FUL.
Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office of the West Midlands at the offices of the Director, Local Government Division, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting 5104/35/1/156), and may be inspected, at all reasonable hours, at Birmingham City Council, Baskerville House, Broad Street, Birmingham B1 2NA.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 22nd August 2000 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
