NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS

Three months advance notice is hereby given that Kirklees Metropolitan Council—Highways Service intends to carry out substantial road works. 2. The street in which these works will take place is: Heckmondwike Road, Dewsbury Moor. 3. Work is expected to affect the carriageway/footway from Beckett Lane to Park Gates 150 metres south-east of junction with Burgh Mill Lane. 4. Work is expected to commence on 20th November 2000 (Works should begin within one month of this date). 5. The works notified will include the following: Carriageway Surfacing. 6. Subject to exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of works described in paragraph 5 without the consent of the said Highway Authority which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
