NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Nettletons & Porters Ltd, of Wakefield Road, Flushdyke, Ossett, West Yorkshire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from two boreholes in the middle coal measures at National Grid Reference SE 286 210 at Nettletons & Porters Ltd, Wakefield Road, Flushdyke, Ossett, West Yorkshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 15 cubic metres per hour, 360 cubic metres per day, 78,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for fellmongering purposes. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the above address, between Monday, 21st August 2000 and Friday, 22nd September 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, before the end of the said period.
