DIRECTION UNDER SECTION 19(1) OF THE CREDIT UNIONS ACT 1979

Pursuant to the powers conferred upon me by section 19(1) of the Credit Unions Act 1979 and with the consent of the Treasury I hereby prohibit the Camberwell Credit Union Limited (“the Credit Union”) from carrying on any one or more of the following activities: (a) borrowing money; (b) accepting a payment representing the whole or any part of an amount due by way of subscription for a share in the Credit Union other than a payment which fell due before the making of this Order; (c) lending money; and (d) repaying share capital. This direction is accompanied by a notice specifying the considerations which have led me to conclude that I should give the direction. S.
