NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL WORKS FOR ROAD PURPOSES (SCOTLAND)

Advance notice is hereby given that the Highways Agency intends to carry out substantial road works. 2. The street/road in which these works will take place is the A456 Ludlow to Birmingham Trunk Road at Hagley, in the vicinity of the roundabout junction with the A491. The Ordnance Survey Grid Reference of the site is SO9180. 3. Work is expected to affect the carriageway, footway, and verge between 29th August 2000 and 12th December 2000. 4. Work is expected to commence on 29th August 2000 (work should begin within one month of this date). 5. The works notified will include the following: The installation of a pelican crossing on the A456 north of the roundabout junction with the A491 combined with minimal road widening of the A456. 6. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works or in Scotland road works may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of the works described in paragraph 5 without the consent of the said Highway Authority/Roads Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
