NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SCHEDULE 10

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991, (as amended by the Environment Act 1995), that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Anglian Water Services Limited for consent to discharge sewage in storm or emergency conditions from The Common, Southrepps Terminal Pumping Station, Norfolk, into Fox’s Beck. The discharge point will be at National Grid Reference Point TG, 2609 3516 within the North Norfolk District Council area. The pumping station has been built to relieve flooding in the village and the the overflows are predicted to operate approximately 5 times a year. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Area Manager, Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, to arrive not later than 26th September 2000, quoting Ref. AEENF/3671/12380. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Environment Agency, 79 Thorpe Road, Norwich NR1 1EW. H.
