NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Cricketer Farm Limited, of Stowey Court Farm, Nether Stowey, Bridgwater, Somerset TA5 1LL, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 16/52/07/G/148 which authorises the abstraction of water from underground strata of sandstone at National Grid Reference ST 1948 3975 at Stowey Court Farm, Nether Stowey, Bridgwater TA5 1LL. The variation being applied for is to increase the amount of water abstracted for industrial purposes from a maximum of 5 cubic metres per hour, 41 cubic metres per day, 15,000 cubic metres per year to 5 cubic metres per hour, 70 cubic metres per day, 22,000 cubic metres per year. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the Reception of Cricketer Farm Limited, between 15th August and 12th September 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about this application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4YS, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
