Areas: Court Farm Road, Newhaven, East Sussex. Long Field Road, Doncaster, Yorkshire. Culfor Road, Lougher, Swansea. Highlands Drive, Ring Road, Stourton, Leeds. The Director General is of the opinon that the above-named applicant intends to carry on the activities which may be authorised by its licence under section 7 of the Act in the areas named, and that the granting of the licence will be calculated: (a) to secure that reasonable demands for gas in Great Britain are met, and (b) to secure effective competition in the supply of gas conveyed through pipes. Any representations or objections with respect to the proposed extensions may be made in writing and delivered to R. Legg, Office of Gas Supply, 16 Palace Street, London SW1E 5JD, no later than 25th August 2000.
