ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 15(2)
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC—BATTLE BRDIGE ROAD/CHENEY ROAD (REF: 2140)
The Council of the London Borough of Camden hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate
construction works during the Kings Cross Underground Development it intends to make
an Order the effect of which will be to:
(a) Suspend the motorcycle bays in Cheney Road.
(b) Suspend the residents’ parking bays in Cheney Road.
(c) Convert the pay and display bays in Battle Bridge Road into residents bays.
(d) Suspend one way working in Cheney Road between Battle Bridge Road and Wellers
Court.
(e) Introduce “At Any Time” waiting/loading restrictions in Cheney Road between Battle
Bridge Road and Wellers Court.
(f) Ban the right turn from Pancras Road into the access road south of the Great
Northern Hotel.
This Order will come into operation on Monday, 21st August 2000, and will continue
in force until the works to which the Order relates are complete. The Council is satisfied
that these works will take longer than 18 months to complete.
The works will only take place between the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The provisions of the Order shall apply only at such times as shall from time to
time be indicated by traffic signs.
