THE CAMDEN (BUS LANE) (NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden, on 3rd August 2000, made the above-mentioned Order. The details of which were previously published in The London Gazette on 16th July 2000 under Ref. 482. The general nature and effect of the (Bus Lane) Order will be to: (a) Amend the existing bus lanes in Gower Street and Bloomsbury Street to operate during the times specified in table to this notice, as part of the London Bus Priority Network. (b) Introduce two new bus lanes in Tottenham Court Road. Bus lanes to operate during the times specified in column (3), in the direction shown in column (4) and type of vehicle permitted to use the bus lane specified in column (5) in the table to this notice. A copy of the Order which will come into force on 14th August 2000, a plan and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, may be inspected/purchased, during normal office hours, at the Environment Reception, Fifth Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof have not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
