ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A63 TRUNK ROAD (SELBY FORK) (40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, hereby gives notice that he intends to make an Order, under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the A63 trunk road, at Selby Fork, in the districts of Leeds and Selby. If made as proposed the Order will reduce the national speed limit to 40 m.p.h. on the Selby Fork roundabout at the junction with the A1 and the A63. Copies of the proposed Order, a plan illustrating the proposal, and a statement explaining the Secretary of State’s reasons for making this Order may be inspected, during opening hours, at the Public Library, Selby, or may be seen at, or obtained by application to, the office of the Director, The Highways Agency, 8th Floor West, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4UR. Any person wishing to object to the Secretary of State’s proposal to make the Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director’s address given above.
