The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of West Yorkshire) (Leeds No. 1) Order 2000”, authorising the stopping-up of a length of Seacroft Avenue and area of highway at the southern extremity of North Parkway, Seacroft, Leeds. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Director of Planning 7 Transport at the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, PO Box 213, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4US (quoting Ref. YDOT N4720/35/1/21) and may be inspected, at all reasonable hours, at Seacroft Library, Seacroft Crescent, Leeds. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, with 6 weeks of 7th August 2000, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order, or of any provision contained therein.
