PROPOSED STOPPING-UP OF QUEEN STREET (PART) CLECKHEATON

Notice is hereby given that the Kirklees Metropolitan Council, being the Highway Authority for the highway hereinafter mentioned, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court, sitting at the Court House, Grove Street, Dewsbury, on Wednesday, 6th September 2000, at 9.45 a.m., for an Order, under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the said Council to stop up for the purposes of all traffic on the ground that it is unnecessary, the following length of highway namely that length of Queen Street at Cleckheaton which extends from a point 106 metres south-east of Bradford Road for 99 metres in a south-easterly direction to its terminal point, more particularly delineated on the plan which has been deposited and which may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at: (1) Cash & Information Office, Cleckheaton Town Hall, Bradford, Cleckheaton; (2) Reception, Ground Floor, Highways Service, Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield; (3) Reception, Legal Services, Second Floor, Civic Centre III, High Street, Huddersfield.
