THE A19 TRUNK ROAD (PROHIBITION OF WAITING IN LAYBY) (DALTON PIERCY)

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the A19 Trunk Road in the district of Hartlepool, which comes into operation on 7th August 2000. The effect of the Order is as described in issue number 1213 of The London Gazette dated 4th February 2000 (Ref. 540). A copy of the Order, and the relevant plan have been deposited at the offices of Hartlepool Borough Council, Bryan Hanson House, Bryan Hanson Square, Hartlepool, where they may be inspected during normal working hours. A copy may also be seen at, or obtained by application to, the office of the Director, The Highways Agency, 8th Floor West, PO Box 206, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4UR, quoting Ref. HA 41/7/51. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers contained in the above Act; or any requirement of the above Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with, may apply to the High Court before 15th September 2000 to suspend or quash the Order or any part of it.
