THE LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2000
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth, on 1st August 2000, made the above-mentioned Order, under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from stopping or remaining at rest outside school entrances during term time on school keep clear markings placed in lengths of Effra Parade and St. Rule Street. A copy of the Order and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection, between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, at the Council’s offices at The Transportation and Highways Group, 3rd Floor, Blue Star House, 234-244 Stockwell Road, London SW9 9SP, and at The Brixton Library, Brixton Oval, London S.W.2, until 12th September 2000. The Order will come into force on 7th August 2000. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 12th September 2000.
