THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.  ) ORDER 200 
OAK LANE, RIVERSIDE WALK AND WORTON ROAD, ISLEWORTH

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Amendment Order would be further to amend the Hounslow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that: (a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) would be prohibited between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive in the streets or parts of streets specified in the Schedule to this notice; (b) waiting by vehicles for the purposes of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for a period of more than 20 minutes would be prohibited between 11.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays in the streets or parts of streets referred to in sub-paragraph 2(a) above; (c) the sale or offer for sale of goods from a vehicle in the streets or parts of streets referred to in paragraph 2(a) above would be prohibited unless there is in force a valid licence issued by the Hounslow Borough Council or the goods are immediately taken into or delivered at premises adjacent to the vehicle from which the sale is effected. 3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable or Council appointed Parking Attendant in uniform or in certain circumstances e.g., the picking up or setting down of passengers, the carrying out of statutory powers or duties; the taking in of petrol etc. from roadside petrol stations; to licensed street traders, etc. The usual exemption relating to vehicles displaying a disabled person’s “Orange Badge” or “Blue Badge” would apply. 4. A copy of the proposed Order (together with a copy of the Order of 1977), of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a plan depicting the lengths of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published in the Environmental Services Department Reception Area at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Environmental Services Department of the London Borough of Hounslow on 020 8583 4858. 6. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing giving the grounds of the objection to the Director of Environmental Services, London Borough of Hounslow, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN, quoting Ref. TP/DN/588, to be received by no later than Friday, 25th August 2000. 3rd August 2000. Schedule (Proposed waiting restrictions 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays) Oak Lane, Isleworth, between the southern kerb-line of Worton Road and a point 18.29 metres south of that kerb-line. Riverside Walk, Isleworth, between the northern kerb-line of Worton Road and a point 18.29 metres north of that kerb-line. Worton Road, Isleworth: (a) the north side: (i) between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 118 and 120 Worton Road, and a point 7 metres north-east of the north-eastern wall of Nos. 21 to 23 Christabell Close; (ii) between the eastern kerb-line of Ruskin Road and the western kerb-line of Twickenham Road, Isleworth; (b) the south side: (i) between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 77 and 79 Worton Road and a point 7 metres north-east of the north-eastern wall of Nos. 21 to 23 Christabell Close; (ii) between a point opposite the north-eastern wall of No. 191 Worton Road and the western kerb-line of Twickenham Road, Isleworth.
