NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL WORKS

Notice is hereby given that the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames intends to carry out substantial road works as follows: St. James Road, Kingston:

Nature of works:	Footway Works.
Limit of works:	West side between County Court and Eden Street.
Total area:	530 square metres.
Start date:	October/November 2000.

Cambridge Road, Kingston:

Nature of works:	Footway works.
Limit of works:	South side Maple Court to opposite King Henrys Road.
Total area:	570 square metres.
Start date:	January 2001.

Idmiston Square, Worcester Park:

Nature of works:	Footway Works.
Limit of works:	South side Nos. 15 to 80.
Total area:	180 square metres.
Start date:	September/October 2000.

Beverley Road, New Malden:

Nature of works:	Footway Works.
Limit of works:	Blagdon Road to Burlington Road both sides.
Total area:	610 square metres.
Start date:	November/December 2000.

Kingston Hill, Kingston:

Nature of works:	Footway Works.
Limit of works:	North side Park Road to No. 93 South side Wolverton Avenue to Galsworthy Road.
Total area:	1,900 square metres.
Start date:	September/October 2000.

Kingston Vale, Kingston:

Nature of works:	Footway Works.
Limit of works:	South side Gipsy Hill (university) entrance to opposite Woodview Close.
Total area:	750 square metres.
Start date:	September/October 2000.

Subject to the exemptions in the Act and regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of the works listed above without consent of the said Highway Authority, Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
